Palm Coast and the Flagler Beaches is home to numerous parks and preserves, including three that are part of the state park system. Washington Oaks Gardens State Park consists of 425 acres of coastal scenery as well as 20 acres of formal gardens. At Bulow Plantation Ruins Historic State Park you can explore the ruins of the former sugar cane plantation, a sugar mill and unique spring house. You won't want to miss the historic Princess Place Preserve where you can tour a beautifully preserved 1888 hunting lodge fit for a princess, who indeed lived there for many years.
